On our way to the 25th anniversary memorial, we stopped off to feed the fish in the old cooling channels. Due to the lack of predators in the water, the cat fish have grown to be the dominant species and are in excess of 1 metre long with some even reaching 2.5 metres long. Not something we expected to do whilst we were there, but it showed perfectly how nature has bounced back already after the disaster.
