Firstly, this set of pages will be a little different to the rest of the website. In May 2011, we took a trip to the Ukraine, with one mission in mind, to see the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and the abandoned city of Pripyat. But rather than spend only 4 hours within the zone, and pay through the nose, we had arranged to spend three nights staying within the zone, lodging in the workers barracks. We will include snippets of history throughout the pages, but for a brief write up on what happened, you can find it here.
To navigate these pages, we have decided that having an interactive map is the best way to display how much of the zone we managed to see, simply click on the red squares/text to view a pop up gallery of that area.
