TheTimeChamber is a website dedicated to the interest that two brothers share in the social history that surrounds them, the great outdoors and music that accompanies them on their journeys. At the centre of this site is their interest in the derelict, abandoned, or converted buildings that dot the landscape of Great Britain and are often ignored by the public that pass them by. Where possible history, accounts and stories are written for each location to bring to life the forgotten memories of the institutes and establishments that the modern world has turned its back on and left to decay.
Venturing into derelict structures pose many hazards, which include, but are not limited to, asbestos, lead paint, unsound masonry, sharp objects and broken glass. This website DOES NOT condone or encourage entering derelict buildings and the website owners cannot be held responsible if you decide to enter any of the sites featured on this website.
Some of the sites featured on this website are often not open to the public and permission is, and should be, sought wherever possible. This website cannot be held responsible if you are found to be on a closed site that you have chosen to visit. We do not encourage or promote trespassing, breaking and entering or damaging or property and this website cannot be held accountable if you are found to be committing any of the above offences.
Upon reading this you agree that the website is not liable for any of your actions if you do decide to enter a derelict structure and all responsibility in doing so lies entirely with you.
