Additionally there may be a fixed instrument shelf (usually with cutouts in it for the Fixed Survey Meter)
These items were either used outside the post or were monitoring
equipment within the post, but since stand down may be found found
within the posts but this is extremely unlikely.

Fixed Desk mounted Dose Rate Meter and probe PDRM82(F) - for use within the
post. (Manufactured by Plessey and introduced in the 1980's)
Fixed Survey Meter and Probe unit (phased out in 1982 and replaced with
the above) - For use within the post. (Seen at
Newhaven Fort)
Portable Dose Rate meter - PDRM82 - Portable version of the
above
Dosimeter - for carrying on your person to measure radiation exposure -
older version of the above (pictured with the reader/charger/resetting
unit)
