Brookwood Hospital Chapel

With the closure and redevelopment of the hospital grounds in the mid 1990's, the developers were faced with a challenge - what to do with the chapel?  Others have been converted into Gyms, swimming pools or offices, but Brookwood remained empty for a number of years.  Not unlike others around the country that have stumped developers with what to do with them.  Eventually in the new millennium, the local Buddhists monks purchased the Chapel and Mortuary for their own purposes and converted the buildings into a Temple & Accommodation.  The Gallery below shows the chapel as they found it, the weblink to the right shows the chapel as it stands today.
